8/31- HAVE SOME HEADLINES YOU HAVEN'T HEARD!

Sara and Barry never follow the news and pick up little crumbs to feed on. As will be evident when they're alone together tonight, they bring along their own loaves of bread; fresh and fragrant.

8/30- AND WE ALL THOUGHT ET WAS SO CUTE!

Writer-teacher-inventor-scientist ADRIAN VANCE pounces upon NASA for its participation in a report so absurd we hesitate to mention it. Well, alright; here's a curt little clue. A NASA scientist warns us that "Aliens from other planets may destroy human life on earth to save this planet from all the awful things we're doing to it." Sara and Barry may be more ears than tongue on this one!

8/29-Matt Barber joins Barry Farber

Conservative writer and fighter, Matt Barber (no kidding undefeated in his heavyweight career), sets his sights on the almost unbelievable PR effort to make pedophiles seem 'okay.' Sara and Barry welcome him.

8/26-WHADDAYAH MEAN, PERRY'S NOT THE RIGHT CANDIDATE?

Everybody knows the cool, inside attitude is, "It's too early to get excited about the GOP presidential race yet. All of a sudden, it's not too early. It's right on time. Texas Governor Rick Perry leaps in and right away claims a huge lead over yesterday's front-runner Mitt Romney. Michelle Bachmann and Ron Paul are still in there, Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell are sure a third-party candidate will run -- and former New York Congressman JOHN LeBOUTILLIER writes "Rick Perry isn't the right candidate, either!" Sara and Barry welcome the Congressman who Barry calls the "owner of the most brilliant political mind in the English language."

8/25-ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EVACUATE?

Sara and Barry share the feelings of a New York City couple waiting patiently for "the worst storm in a generation" to hit town in a few days. A new question has been added to "Have they found Khadafi?" "Is the market coming back?" And, "What is the national debt NOW?"

8/24-MEET THE EMBARGO THAT FEEDS STALINIST CUBA

Like a sci-fi thriller, a miasma of startling ignorance seems to overwhelm, not the dummies of the land, but even presidential candidates themselves about the elemental history of the Castro regime and America's so-called "embargo". Fortunately, like a sci-fi hero, Cuban-born freedom-writer HUMBERTO FONTOVA unleashes the power of his English, his knowledge and his scathing wit to vaporize the miasma -- until it rests up and comes over us again. Barry welcome Humberto.

Tuesday, August 23, 2011

8/23- THE DAY STARTED WITH AN EARTHQUAKE AND WORKED UP TO A CLIMAX.

Sara and Barry share views on a news day that found the two of them sitting in an upheaval of nature (east coast earthquake) watching an upheaval of human nature. (The sacking of Khadafi's Compound)

8/22- IS THIS A MOVIE, OR A CAMPAIGN COMMERCIAL?

Boy-oh-boy, big one here! Can the White House hand off access to a Hollywood director of its choice to make a feature of the bin Laden take-down, thereby injecting high-powered helium into the President's sagging popularity in an election year, or, do those details belong to the American people? Sara and Barry bring on Hollywood's non-starry-eyed but immensely popular reporter JAMES HIRSEN for a hard-headed analysis.

8/19-A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE CRASH!

TODD BUCHHOLZ is a best-selling writer and best-applause-winning speaker on economic issues. According to the Associated Press, Buchholz "lights up economics with a wickedly sparkling wit." He's famous for leaving audiences laughing. Sara and Barry welcome Todd with what might be his major challenge; that is, can he find anything to make the audience laugh about in the American economy today!

Thursday, August 18, 2011

8/18- The LOGICAL answer is....!

When Barry speaks of his Texas radio friend LYNN WOOLLEY he calls him an "L-Winger" and explains that does NOT mean LEFT-winger. It means "Logic-winger", a distinction Woolley earns daily by clinging to logic, rationality, civility -- all the values media is losing -- and Barry introduces Lynn to Sara for an evening of all the things, logical and otherwise, affecting and afflicting America.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

8/17-HEY, AUDIENCE. CAN YOU HANDLE BEING TREATED LIKE A GROWNUP?

Somebody like Barnum once said nobody ever went broke thinking the American people are too stupid. Sara and Barry treat the listeners to a possibly overly-intellectual overview of America today. Just one example. You think the president lies? You'll hear why a president who refuses to lie should be impeached. Also, the biggest story in America today has nothing to do with budgets, debt ceilings, credit downgrades or Governor Rick Perry.

8/16-AREN'T THEY EVEN SHY ABOUT ALL THIS?

Remember when the Holy Grail of journalism was to try to connect a sitting president to the violent enemies of the United States; find some tenuous thread connecting Roosevelt to the Nazis, Truman and Eisenhower to the Communists? Nobody ever did. Nobody came close. Today investigative reporter MATTHEW VADUM, author of "Subversion, Inc" shows us "super-highways" linking the president to outright anti-American, criminal groups like the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and ACORN. If you're a caring American and think ACORN is out of business, you need to cancel your plans for the evening and join Sara and Barry in welcoming Vadum to their microphones.

Monday, August 15, 2011

8/15- RICK PERRY HITS THE GROUND RUNNING; FINDS LeBOUTILLIER THERE WAITING!

Sure, the GOP presidential picture can change, but never quickly or sharply enough to catch former New York Congressman JOHN LeBOUTILLIER by surprise. Sara and Barry welcome the man they call "the owner of the most brilliant political mind in the English language.

Friday, August 12, 2011

8/12-WILL THESE SOON BE "THE GOOD OLD DAYS"?

Sara and Barry look back upon one of the most tumultuous weeks in recent history; roiling global markets, the UK racked by riots, the federal court smashing Obamacare. Also consumer confidence hits a historic low. The hour can promise a bit of everything -- except, perhaps, long pauses in the conversation

Thursday, August 11, 2011

8/11- BRITISH JUDGE: "MY DOG HAS HIGHER MORAL VALUES!"

Who, if anybody, is on record predicting that civilization might well be overthrown, not by Nazism, Communism, Jihadism or similar threats, but rather by people in civilized countries like the UK and America who've been so animalized by liberalism and welfare that they lack the moral literacy to behave decently? Sara and Barry welcome Regent University Professor of government, history and criminal justice DAVID MEYER spotlighting the hard-to-describe and impossible to believe depravity of the London rioters.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011

8/10- DOES A WILD DOW HELP DICTATORS GET AWAY WITH MURDER?

With full awareness that talk shows in Syria might well be talking about America this evening, Sara and Barry nonetheless poke their heads above and beyond America's problems to the unspeakable spectacle of Syria's modern army slaughtering 20 to 80 protesting civilians every day while America's leaders stand there, their very posture spelling disapproval. Guest writer and intelligence analyst RYAN MAURO who does volunteer work for a movement of Syrian Freedom Fighters has agreed to come and turn on the proper lights.

Tuesday, August 9, 2011

8/9- BE CAREFUL WHAT NEWS YOU IGNORE

The worst thing about some "nothing" disease like acid reflux or gout is; preoccupation with it might conceal the symptoms of something like cancer. Sara and Barry share haunting notions that a news story way down the priority totem pole today may soon turn out to be the biggest and one of the most catastrophic stories in the world. Writer/Scientist/Inventor Adrian Vance helps spotlight this development.

Monday, August 8, 2011

8/8- THE TEA PARTY MEETS THE ENEMY

Even on days when the news is normal, TONY KATZ of THE TONY KATZ RADIO SPECTACULAR doesn't always observe the "rules-of-cool". Tony, Tea Party organizer for Los Angeles, sits with Sara and Barry on a far-from-normal news day and answers the Obama-crowd's accusations that the S & P downgrade is nothing but a "Tea Party" downgrade.

Friday, August 5, 2011

8/5- DID SHAKESPEARE COVER NATIONAL DEBT?

New York used to have a colorful, salty old character; a saloon-keeper named Toots Shor who all the media star absolutely loved. Toots would have been the first to admit he was bigger on booze-dispensing than book-learning, but one evening he got roped into attending a charity performance of "Hamlet". Looking around at all the better-educated celebrities in tuxedos and evening gowns, Toots never showed his boredom or remoteness from culture. At intermission, he was overheard telling a friend, "You know, I'll bet I'm the only one here who doesn't know how this play ends up." Sara and Barry exchange ideas on how America's present drama "ends up."

Thursday, August 4, 2011

8/4- Congratulations, Humberto. You've Nobody 'Til Somebody Hates You.

In football you know you've scored when the referee raises both hands over his head. If you a Tea-Party enthusiast, you know you've scored when Maureen Dowd, pathologically leftist columnist of the New York Times, devotes a whole column comparing you to the most brutal, murderous monsters in the whole history of horror movies. Sara and Barry welcome and congratulate Cuban-born Freedom-Writer Humberto Fontova for officially getting under Castro's beard with his gutsy exposes of the failure of Communism in Cuba -- namely earning at last the official Cuban government accusation of "scoundrel" and "traitor"

Wednesday, August 3, 2011

8/3- Sorry! Eeny, meeny, and miny. It's all moe

When you have FRED DRYER as a talk-show guest, he brings three strong topics: Hollywood stardom, conservative politics, and professional football. Guess which one interest Sara and Barry the most!

Tuesday, August 2, 2011

8/2-"Deja vu" all over again! Carter and Obama.

"Hiding in plain sight" was a phrase commonly heard when the Navy Seals took out Osama bin Laden. That phrase occurred to Barry when he read the brilliant article by DR. CHARLES DUNN comparing the failures of President Barack Obama with those of Jimmy Carter. Great medicine for those who still doubt "History repeats itself!" Sara and Barry welcome Dr, Dunn on this evening's broadcast. Dr. Charles Dunn is a Distinguished Professor of Government at Regent University and author of "The Seven Laws of Presidential Leadership", published by Pearson Prentice-Hall 2007.

8/1- NEWS WHEN IT'S ALMOST TOO HOT TO TOUCH!

Whatever the world knows about the last-ditch "debt" deal at 8 p. m. ET will be faithfully and masterfully interpreted for the public by the man Barry calls "The owner of the best political mind in the English language -- former New York Congressman JOHN LeBOUTILLIER. Sara and Barry welcome the Congressman to cut the headlines just right as they come out of the Congressional oven.
