ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, teacher, historian, singer, actor and folk-lore specialist, has joined with Barry on many “happy hours” on radio lauding the Nazi-smashing triumphs of the Russians during World War II. Now both men leave their laughter outside the studio and offer anguished speculation about Russian intentions as reports intensify about Russian troop movements within and into Ukraine. 2/27-WHAT DOES IT SAY ABOUT THE ART WORLD THAT A MASTERFUL FORGERY IS WORTHY ZERO, WHEREAS IF THE IDENTICAL PAINTING WERE DONE BY A FAMOUS ARTIST IT COULD BE WORTH MILLIONS?
WILLIAM KAVANNAH brings another wonderful stories about success descending upon people at times and ways and fields, all utterly unexpected. All of a sudden Kavannah – a lawyer, producer, agent, impresario – decided he’d like to paint. His earlier works are bringing in thousands of dollars. A prominent “art-diagnostician” told CBS’s “60 Minutes” in their story about famous German art forger Wolfgang Beltracchi the the percentage of paintings that are frauds reaches a staggering NINETY-EIGHT PERCENT! Kavannah visits with Sara and Barry this evening.

After the Soviet Union collapsed, three countries that were dictatorships called him and said, “We don’t know what you charge, but no matter; get over here and teach us how to run a legitimate television operation in a democracy. He’s TED KAVANAU and richly deserves his industry-nick-name of “America’s celebrity TV news producer!” One of those countries was Ukraine and Ted put Barry in touch with his old friends who were, of course, on the barricades in Kiev these past few days. Kavanau visits with Sara and Barry this evening.

Football coaches who tried to run against the Old Notre Dame teams knew they were up against a wall of meat and muscle they called the “Seven Blocks of Granite” – appropriate nickname for Notre Dame’s defensive line. Anybody, including Secretary of State John Kerry, who tries to use Global Warming as a distraction to Obamacare has to get past teacher-writer-scientist-inventor ADRIAN VANCE. Vance visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
