What is a “delegate”?  Oh, sure, we know delegates go to conventions to determine by their votes who the partys’ candidates will be but what is life like for a delegate, particularly in an election year as contested and convoluted as this one.  How do you get to be a delegate?  Are they paid?  What kind of pressure are they under from lobbyists to vote for candidates the lobbyists prefer?  Are they ever bribed?  Threatened?  MARTHA MEDRANO is a Bernie Sanders delegate from California who won out over thirty other women and she visits with Sara and Barry this evening.

6/7-OBAMA PUTS SO MUCH EMPHASIS ON THE TOILELTRY RIGHTS OF THE TRANSGENDERED?

CELIA FARBER, Barry’s younger daughter, reports on the unsettling moment early in the nation’s amalgamation of male and female rest rooms when she went into what she thought was the “Ladies’ room” at her son’s graduation from Bard College in New York State and was followed by an adult male.  Barry says, “It couldn’t happen to a better journalist!”

 

6/3-DO THE DEMOCRATS HAVE A NEAT LITTLE SCENARIO IN PLACE IF HILLARY, DESPITE WINNING THE NEEDED NUMBER OF DELEGATES, COMES OFF AS THE LOSER AGAINST BERNIE SANDERS?

Sara and Barry are both for Trump.  Barry saw a movie in the 1940s that alerts him to a political tactic possibly at play right now in the attacks on Trump supporters.  Barry explains his uneasy feeling brought on by the recollection of that movie and then Sara and Barry will go at it in as many different directions as the clock allows.
