4/10- AS RECENTLY AS 1950 THEY WEREN'T CALLED "LIBERALS" AND "CONSERVATIVES". THEY WERE "NORMALS" AND "FREAKS"!

Who invented the potato chip? You probably thought it was always there. Not at all. A chef at Saratoga Springs, N. Y. in the 1800s had a fussy customer who kept sending his meal back because the potatoes were sliced too thick. Finally, chef George Crum thought "I'll fix him!" and sliced it so thin it was just a chip! The customer liked it, as did hundreds of millions of others! You may have thought "conservatism" was always there, too. Again, not at all. Sara and Barry welcome DAVID FRISK, biographer of William Rusher, the true father of what we call "political conservatism", who spotlights his new biography, "If Not Us, Who? William Rusher, National Review and the Conservative Movement."

4/9- WAS NBC CRIMINAL -- OR JUST STUPID?

Not every congressman knows the internal workings of the broadcasting business, but former New York Representative JOHN LeBOUTILLIER is also a broadcaster and fully able to comment meaningfully on NBC's claim that the editing of Zimmerman's 911 call was a "mistake". That won't take too much time to hinder John's horizon-to-horizon coverage of the race for the GOP nomination.

4/6-OKAY, OKAY; LET'S AGREE HUMANS RE NOT GUILTY OF CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING! WILL WARMING DO THE PLANET IN ALL THE SAME?

Sara and Barry welcome the man who lives at the intersection of science and political science; nature and human nature. He's writer-professor-scientist-inventor ADRIAN VANCE and he brings an insightful look at the effect of "warming" even if, as Vance insists, it's not caused by human activity.

4/5- THIS UNCLE REMUS STORY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE, BIGOTRY OR THE OLD PLANTATION.

Anybody in the media unskilled or insensitive enough to make an "Uncle Remus" joke about the current White House deserves all the avalanche of politically correct vengeance that would fall upon him. However, a sober accusation that the White House is playing a political game based on the teachings and tactics of Uncle Remus deserves to be judged on its merits. Sara and Barry lay it out as an opening pearl in the evening's necklace of topic hot and huge.

4/4- WHY DO WE TAKE IT TIME AFTER TIME? BARRY THINKS HE UNDERSTANDS.

Barry makes good on his promise to "explain" why solar company after solar company goes bankrupt, the scourge of illegal aliens escalates, Andrew Breitbart's autopsy report still hasn't surfaced and through outrage after outrage the American people respond with zombified un-concern. Sara will cross-examine as he goes along. Meanwhile, Barry apologizes if his explanation is a bit insulting to the nation.

4/3- FAIR WARNING, AMERICA: IF YOU CAN'T CAN'T CONTROL YOUR BORDERS, HERE WE COME!

This may seem small -- a tornado begins as an insignificant gust of wind -- but it's great news for America. Dennis Michael Lynch came on the SARA AND BARRY SHOW a few evenings ago and previewed his "objective" documentary film which concludes illegal immigration is bad for America and getting worse. Every single Hollywood distributor turned him down. The film was shown in the exclusive, ultra-liberal Hamptons on New York's Long Island last week and got standing applause. That qualifies as a "news" story and veteran star TV news anchor JOHN ROLAND, who plays a role in the film, visits Sara and Barry to detail his experience making and finally screening the documentary, "They Come To America".

4/2- THIS ISN'T YOUR DADDY'S AMERICA. SHOW ME THE HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!

Great news for America. A group of senior students at a boys' school in Detroit held a demonstration demanding more homework. They say they're entitled to an EDUCATION. When the school officials recovered their sanity, they suspended the students for the remainder of the day. That's just one of the sparkles Sara and Barry will let fly on this evening's edition of THE SARA AND BARRY SHOW.
