11/9- "TAX THE RICH" IS EMOTIONALLY SATISFYING. "GROW THE ECONOMY" IS MATHEMATICALLY SATISFYING.

Barry has two lead questions for DOUG JOHNSON this evening; the first because he's a man; the second because he's Doug Johnson. The "man" question: His views on the Petraeus resignation. The "Doug Johnson" question: What child doesn't understand "a bigger pie"? Why are the victorious Democrats so insistent on raising tax rates, when the math clearly shows that allows for insufficient new revenue, instead of the Republican idea of making life more attractive for business, expand the whole economy and invite limitless growth?

11/8-HE WISHES HE'D BEEN WRONG, BUT HE WAS CHILLINGLY RIGHT ABOUT OBAMA-ROMNEY THE WHOLE TIME!

Fox Evening News just called the roll of the best and the worst polling outfits in calling the results of the presidential election. The top five were unfamiliar names. The giants, like Rasmussen and Gallup, finished at the bottom. Factoring in attitude and tone of voice over the past months -- nay, YEARS -- talking about this election, the big winner is former New York Congressman JOHN LeBOUTILLIER, who visits Sara and Barry this evening for a victory lap; and then some.

11/7-ASK NOT "WHAT'S WRONG WITH REPUBLICANS". ASK INSTEAD, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH AMERICA!"

Two journalistic and commentator friends of Barry are STU TARLOWE and DAMIAN HOUSMAN. You could hardly call that trio the "Pep Boys" at the moment because all three were emphatically for Romney and all three thought Romney would win. The e-mails crackling between Tarlowe and Housman today struck Barry as great fodder for a broadcast. Their thinking, though not pleasant about America's chances under Obama, were far removed from the normal cliches of "Republicans reaching out to minorities" and Barry asked both friends to join him. They will both visit Sara and Barry this evening.

11/6-IT'S ALL MOVING TOO FAST FOR ANYBODY EXCEPT DON!

Barry calls him America's champion political junkie. He says, no, he's just an American who loves politics. He's DON O'SULLIVAN, attorney in New York who thinks nothing of being able to recite the result of Congressional races in Tennessee during the Eisenhower Administration. It takes a different kind of talent to broadcast a horse race than a baseball game, football game or any contest that's comparatively static. O'Sullivan volunteers to jump right into the middle of the wildest part of Election Night as he visits Sara and Barry this evening.

11/5-H. LEIGHTON STEWARD IN WILL CONVERT THOSE WHO FEAR GLOBAL WARMING INTO BEING GRATEFUL FOR ATMOSPHERIC CARBON!
