Barry says he’s proud he’s lived long enough to praise the French.  He never saw that coming until the French denounced the Iranian nuclear deal for the outright fraud it is.  It’s not often mentioned, but wars can be won by retreating.  The British literally fled for their lives from the Nazis on the beach at Dunkirk.  The Russians retreated hundreds of miles to the gates of Leningrad, Moscow and Stalingrad.  The Americans retreated in the Philippines to the peninsula of Bataan and the island of Corregidor and conceded the entire western Pacific to Japan – for a while!  Barry feels defeated by the Iran deal and outlines a pathway back to victory this evening.

4/2-THE ASSUMPTION THAT EVERYBODY ABOARD WANTS PLANES TO LAND SAFELY HAS BEEN SHATTERED. WHAT WILL REPLACE IT?

Former Navy pilot in Vietnam HANS TRUPP was told the German pilot apparently deliberately crashing his plane with 149 others aboard in the French alps is a “scary” thing.  “Maybe not really!” replied Hans who’s spent the entire nine days since immersed in every detail of the disaster, apparently sees some safety measures that will make such acts difficult if not impossible going forward.  Hans will share his views as he visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
