4/16- AS HITLER’S FORCES PITCHED INTO A HEADLONG RETREAT ACROSS NORTH AFRICA THE GERMAN RADIO WAS BRAGGING THAT “ALL BRITISH ATTEMPTS TO INTERFERE WITH OUR ORDERLY ADVANCE TO THE REAR HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SMASHED.

During World War II Barry kept a daily update on the position of all active forces; red pins in a corkboard-mounted map for our side, and blue pins for German and Japanese troops.  Barry is bullet-spitting mad that he just learned today about the ISIS threat to Iraq’s Anbar Province and Baghdad itself.  He says, “Apparently America has now perfected the old Nazi and Communist trick of concealing negative news.  We’re losing a war we can’t even admit we’re in.”  Sara and Barry contrast Obama’s hailing of Yemen as the role model for winning the war on terror even as the Islamic extremists chase us out of our embassy and take an airport AND a seaport, also today!

4/17-WHY DOES THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SEEM MUCH MORE ALARMED BY MILITARY CHAPLAINS WHO MENTION JESUS BY NAME THAN BY ISLAMIC TERRORISTS?

There’s something new in American life.  Never before have we witnessed such a disturbing pogrom of anti-Christian attacks against Christian chaplains in the American military undergoing court-martial and worse for mentioning Jesus’ name in their prayers.  The latest is the move to “fire” Marine and Navy Chaplin Wes Modder, hailed by his loyal troops as “the best of the best!”  Barry pointedly proclaims, “Please don’t mistake me for a journalist on this one.  I want to be part of the “Push-Back”!  MICHAEL BERRY, Senior counsel and director of military affairs for the Liberty Institute visits with Sara and Barry this evening.

4/15- IRAN AND CUBA BEING WERE NAMED TO THE UN’S HUMAN RIGHTS COUNSEL CAME CLOSE. CUBA DECLARED TO BE NO LONGER A STATE SPONSOR OF TERRORISM FINISHES THE JOB!

Key West, Florida is the closest American city to Cuba.  Instead of using the Yankee idiom – “That’s the last straw.” – a real native-born Key Wester might be overheard uttering the southern equivalent; namely, “That’s the last button on Gabe’s britches.”  Only now has the last button on Gabe’s britches been identified.  The president of the United States, after solemn deliberation and careful study of the facts, has recommended that Cuba be removed from the list of states that support terror.  Only Cuban-born freedom-writer HUMBERTO FONTOVA has the wit and wisdom to react to this headline with appropriate outrage.  Fontova visits with Sara and Barry to do so this evening.

4/14- DO REPUBLICANS KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THIS BREATH-TAKING SWING IN THEIR FAVOR AWAY FROM OBAMA’S IRAN-O-MANIA?

There’s a moment when the alcoholic realizes and admits his resistance is futile and the bottle leaves the shelf and the liquid hits the glass.  The broadcasting equivalent is when the journalist tells himself and the world a hundred dozen times that it’s all too early and nothing means anything at that ridiculously early juncture.  Out the window flies, “It’s far too early.” and down the chimney scoots,  “According to a new Fox poll just released, 35 % of college-graduate Albanians in western Pennsylvania intend to vote for a …..”So, if resistance is futile and the liquid is splashing around in the goblet, why not seek out the best “bartender” in the business with whom to dialogue; namely, FORMER CONGRESSMAN JOHN LeBOUTILLIER who visits with Sara and Barry this evening to reveal his findings, facts, and feelings about the presidential race of 2016.

It’s no accident that the South retained all the color and the glory of its speech as the rest of the nation allowed itself to get homogenized by “network” voices and candidates who wanted to sound “national” instead of “regional”.  Southerns had to work extra hard for that achievement.  DR.
