Wouldn't
it have been remarkable if one German newspaper during World War II kept
reporting on pro-Jewish activities right there in the middle of what the world
would later call the Holocaust? Something very much like that is going on
right now in Turkey, where one pro-Israel faction continues to plant guests on
American talk shows who describe the activities of these pro-Jewish Turks who
defy the Turkish government and insist that Jews have every right right to
inhabit the land of their ancestors. DR. OKTAR BABUNA, the personal
representative of controversial Islamic leader Adnan Okta, was in Israel for
several days last week meeting with MKs in an effort to smooth feathers ruffled
by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan when he called Zionism “a crime
against humanity” in February. Dr. Babuna visits with Sara and Barry this
evening.
Barry's talk show brings listeners wisdom, insight, and first-hand knowledge from a cosmopolitan mind and down-home heart full of charm, sweetness, and the warmth of a deep and steady inner fire. One taste and your listeners will agree that Barry Farber is to talk radio what a fine wine is to a good meal. CRN1 M-F 5PM PT.

3/19-IF THE ARABS WERE TO ABANDON THEIR ARMS, THERE WOULD BE NO MORE WAR. IF ISRAELIS DID THAT, THERE'S BE NO MORE ISRAEL
DAVID RUBIN is an American who went to Israel and became
mayor of the town of Shiloh in the controversial "West Bank". You can name an argument about the Middle
East Mayor Rubin hasn't heard before and, if it calls for
"land-for-peace" or a "two-state solution", attacked
before. No matter how much evidence piles up against all the sweet dreams of a
return to the borders of 1967, people with varying agendas continue to bring
them up. And David Rubin continues to explain
the real-world futility of such plans, as he does when he visits with Sara and
Barry this evening.

3/18-"MILLIONS FOR DEFENSE, BUT NOT ONE CENT FOR BRIBERY" MAY BE AN APT SLOGAN FOR FEDEX WHEN THE FEDS ACT LIKE BARBARY PIRATES!
You don't have to be a person to have -- or to lack --
character. Corporations can do it,
too! Consider the contrasting styles of
standing up to government bullying right bow between FEDEX and UPS. The Justice Department is, in effect,
complaining that both companies are "aiding and abetting drug traffickers." FEDEX says, "What rot! It's YOUR job, not ours, to identify the drug
dealers. Tell us who they are and we
won't ship for them any more."
Meanwhile UPS takes a position more like,"Ooooh, Dear Me, what can
we do? If we do everything you say and
pay a fine -- just tell us how much -- will that bring 'peace' to the
'valley'?" PATRICK FITZGERALD,
spokesman of FEDEX, visits Sara and Barry this evening. Barry is so energized with FEDEX's stance, he
wants to take a short leave and run their entire resistance campaign for them!

3/14- HOPES FOR HIS HOLINESS FRANCIS THE FIRST ARE HIGH, BUT CAN WHITE SMOKE CONCEAL A RED AGENDA
Congratulations to Pope Francis the First on his
elevation to the papacy, and no disrespect intended, but let's find out
immediately who it is who's telling us that the combination of the exiting of Venezuela's
Hugo Chavez and the arrival of the new pope is terrible news for the Castro
brothers and their other Latin-American Communism clones and a great blow for
freedom. It sounds hopeful, but
remember; they said Fidel Castro swore he'd hold free elections within one
year. Before that they told us Mao Tse
Tung was just an "agrarian reformer".
And before that they told us Josef Stalin merely wanted to "preserve
the gains of the working class."
Former Roman Catholic priest TOM KANE, author of "Good Church, Bad
Church" visits Sara and Barry this evening to pick up the theme.
3/13-THE AGING COLUMNIST TOLD HIS NEW YOUNG BOSS WHY HE NEVER TOOK VACATIONS. "NUMBER ONE," HE EXPLAINED, "IT MIGHT HURT THE PAPER. NUMBER TWO, IT MIGHT NOT HURT THE PAPER."
Barry
believes some interview shows would be better without the interviewer. He
points out that once upon a time NBC-TV lost its audio link to a Wimbleton
tennis championship in England and all it could show was the video. And
so they did; and thousands of tennis fans wrote and called the network to
CONGRATULATE them on their new style of broadcasting tennis. Putting that
theory into action, Sara has the evening off and Barry has chosen
professor-writer-scientist-inventor ADRIAN VANCE to demonstrate how rewarding
it can be when the right guest is free to choose his own flight path and
soar. Barry will be on hand to introduce segments, ask a follow-up
question now and then and get Adrian a glass of water if he needs it.
3/15- IF CARDINAL BERGOGLIO CAN GO FROM UNKNOWN TO POPE IN TWO DAYS, REPUBLICANS, TOO, HAVE A RIGHT TO DREAM!
With the president all of a sudden not much more popular
than the Republican House, not all Republicans are gloomy. Even cynical columnist Charles Krauthammer
observes there's a "deep Republican bench" and lots of hope for
oncoming elections. Former GOP Representative
from New York JOHN LeBOUTILLIER takes the measurements of those Republican
front-runners to see if there's any sign of a Reagan -- or at least a winner in
those ranks. Cong. LeBoutillier visits
with Sara and Barry this evening.
