1/17-Martin Luther King Anniversary Comments

Barry recalls the first person he interviewed on radio, MARTIN LUTHER KING, in 1958 and appeals for at least a small slice of the credit for improved racial justice in America for his own group -- the young Southern whites who treated the old white bigots with ridicule and contempt and made the climate throughout the South ready for change. Barry will express a little contempt, too, for a report being prepared for President Obama urging full participation for service women in combat!
