8/5- DID SHAKESPEARE COVER NATIONAL DEBT?

New York used to have a colorful, salty old character; a saloon-keeper named Toots Shor who all the media star absolutely loved. Toots would have been the first to admit he was bigger on booze-dispensing than book-learning, but one evening he got roped into attending a charity performance of "Hamlet". Looking around at all the better-educated celebrities in tuxedos and evening gowns, Toots never showed his boredom or remoteness from culture. At intermission, he was overheard telling a friend, "You know, I'll bet I'm the only one here who doesn't know how this play ends up." Sara and Barry exchange ideas on how America's present drama "ends up."
