3/29-SORRY, FIDEL. THE RAFTS, LEAKY BOATS AND INNER TUBES ONLY SEEM TO GO FROM SOUTH TO NORTH DOWN THERE.

In the balmy days before Communism, all the rhythms from Cuba were syncopatic and copacetic. Now all you can hear is clashing propaganda from both sides. A columnist today says the Pope's visit to Cuba may be all that's needed to topple the Castro regime. Other media are full of, "Gee; my parents fled Castro to Miami and I came to Cuba for the Pope's visit and it's not nearly as bad as my father told me!" Do they think they can sneak hockey pucks of that kind of propaganda past Freedom's Goal-Keeper HUMBERTO FONTOVA? They'll think again as Humberto visits Sara and Barry this evening.
