Barry this is a long-overdue dream-come-true. “I’ve heard a zillion
doctors, nutritionists and fitness exoerts and not one of them scratches where
I itch. Forget sugar, fats and carbohydrates for just a minute,” Barry
begs. “I want to know how much food value gets destroyed by the microwave.
When warming leftovers does it really make sense to fire up the over, or will
thirty-seconds in the microwave do it for me? And how do the food
evangelists get off telling us canned goods have almost no nutrition in
them. How could any of us still be alive if that were true?” It’s
Barry’s lucky day. Dr. Evelyn Higgins – practicing physician, health-care
