9/24- A FEW GENERATIONS MISSED OUT ON THE BEST ANTI-SOVIET JOKE OF THE 1930's, BUT THEY’LL CATCH UP TONIGHT. IT’S THE MOSCOW SUBWAY JOKE THAT ENDS, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN, WHERE ARE THE TRAINS. WHAT ABOUT THE NEGROES IN THE SOUTH?”

The kind of history was made today that leaves some Americans unable to close their mouths or regain their powers of speech.  The sly trick of “moral equivalency” has frequently been used against the United States by hostile foreigners.  When the high crimes and repressions of Soviet Communism were pointed out by Americans, the Communists were quick to reply, “Yes, but you had a Ku Klux Klan!”  Today for the first time time a U. S. president has turned moral equivalency all the way around.  God knows why, but Barack Obama told the United Nations something resembling, “Yes, ISIS cuts throats and beheads its enemies but don’t forget; this summer a young man was shot in Ferguson, Missouri dividing the community.  So we have our racial tensions, too!”  Teacher-writer-scientist-inventor ADRIAN VANCE visits with Sara and Barry to figure this one out – provided they can regain their audio by show time!
