10/6-SO SOON AFTER YOM KIPPUR, THE JEWISH DAY OF ATONEMENT, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY ATONES FOR HAVING ONCE MISTAKENLY IDOLIZED CHE GUEVARA.

HUMBERTO FONTOVA is a Cuban-born freedom-writer who knew good and well that Che Guevara, far from a dashing revolutionary hero, was nothing but a cowardly sadistic murderer.  And he said so in his books and articles.  And the American people listened.  And they wanted more.  In a rare and thrilling case of “political retro-rocketry” universities where Humberto has spoken that previously idolized their beloved Che are atoning for their blunder by staging “No-Che-Days.  The next one, coming up Thursday, takes place at Columbia, no less!  Fontova visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
