Barry’s
daughter Bibi happened to meet and adopt a pet rabbit, Sandra. A few
weeks ago Sandra developed a lump in her mouth and Bibi took her to a nearby
veterinary hospital. The doctor said Sandra needed an operation and they
made a date for the surgery. Early on the appointed morning Bibi took
Sandra to the animal hospital and returned to her nearby home. A
few hours later Bibi get a call from the veterinarian telling her Sandra’s lump
had disappeared and she didn’t need an operation after all. Fifty years ago
Barry would have considered that normal. Today Barry went wild with
admiration for the doctor, who could so easily have charged the
agreed-upon $950 for the operation – but didn’t! DR. DAVID GUNZBURG, of
the Hurley Veterinary Hospital in Hurley, N. Y. as well as BIBI FARBER visit
with Sara and Barry this evening.
