6/23-BARRY CLEARLY RECALLS FROM HIS MORAL EDUCATION AT THE AGE OF 6 WHAT GREAT FUN IT WAS BEING GOOD

Barry insists the reason he’s so weak in math is, for his first three years of public schooling in the post-Depression South the clear emphasis was on MORALITY!  “The major subjects,” he recalls, “were honesty, ethics, responsibility, punctuality, loyalty, obedience, trustworthiness, helpfulness, courtesy, cleanliness and even posture!”  Today, he notes with a dry grin, an organization named “ThinkVirtues” is trying to convince parents their children can get a “moral” education beginning at the age of four!  KATHY MOTLAGH, founder of “ThinkVirtues”, visits with Sara and Barry this evening to try to persuade Americans to catch up with Barry’s distant past!
