9/6-PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY WAS AND REMAINS THE “FIRST LADY OF AMERICAN CONSERVATISM”. HER LOSS IS MITIGATED ONLY BY THE COMFORTING AWARENESS THAT SHE LIVED LONG ENOUGH – 92 YEARS – TO TRAIN A BATTALION OF HEARTY FEMALE CONSERVATIVES TO CONTINUE THE EFFORT.

Barry looks back on a very long and rich association with Phyllis Schlafly, a dear friend, frequent radio guest and conservative “comrade-in-arms” dating from a time when we often felt like the only two conservatives in America.
