11/12- AS A CHILD SHE ALWAYS CLEANED UP HER ROOM. NOW SHE TRIES TO CLEAN UP THE WORLD.
Some people are proud of what things "run in the family". Her grandmother spent her career giving chest-X-rays to the Lapp nomads in Northern Sweden. Her mother was a nurse and international flight attendant who saved a pair of drowning men in the ocean off the south shore of New York's Long Island and a catastrophically inebriated European over-indulger while on vacation in Barbados. During Hurricane Katrina she bought her own ticket to Louisiana and plunged into the clean-up effort. She's Barry's elder daughter Bibi and she's scheduled to arrive in studio just in time to visit Sara and Barry this evening after working two days so far as a volunteer helping clean up after Superstorm Sandy in Brooklyn, N. Y.
