12/27- IN STORY BOOKS, MOVIES AND A 1940'S CHILDHOOD; ONLY THE NATIONS THAT CAUSED SUFFERING SUFFERED THEMSELVES. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO US?
It may not be a torrent of thinking your clergyman would praise, but Barry is willing to admit he's spent a lot of time rejoicing at the misery of bad guys. He started as a preteen loving the fact that Hitler's Nazi troops who invaded Russia were freezing at the gates of Moscow. And Italian dictator Mussolini was fleeing for his life, unsuccessfully. And yes, all the boys in the neighborhood except one were all happy at the news that America had an atomic bomb and Japan had one less city. Barry feels, unlike those world-class villains, America deserves better than the financial misery that looms far beyond the little hiccup of the "fiscal cliff". Former New York Congressman JOHN LeBOUTILLIER makes a house call to give Barry some aid and comfort. LeBoutillier visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
