1/18-ANY MAN CAN REACH FOR A GUN. IT TAKES A GIANT LIKE HUMBERTO FONTOVA TO ADMIT HOW IT ENDED
A great showman named Mike Todd once said, "Never take the audience backstage." We do it all the time. We not only announce our upcoming guest, but the curious quirk that accompanies the booking. Barry called Cuban-born "freedom-writer" HUMBERTO FONTOVA to explore the eye-opening easing of travel restrictions by the Castro government. Humberto was on his cell phone in the woods of Louisiana capitalizing on the final days of the deer season and told Barry about the use of his firearms when two armed intruders broke into his home in 1981. The story has a most unusual ending, and
that scoops and leads the Cuba travel story as Fontova visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
