A major right-of-center news-site wasted a heap of
cyber-space today listing the "25 Most Important Women in the
GOP". They meant well. There were a lot of recognizable names on
that list, but we could have written "Mission Accomplished" on the
journalistic project with a single entry under the heading, "The Most
Important Right-of-Center" Woman in America followed by the lone name
PHYLLIS SCHLAFLY, who spearheaded the effort to bring down the Equal Rights
Amendment in the 1970s and around whom the forces of conservatism of BOTH
genders have rallied before half of those on that other roll-call were even
born. Ms. Schlafly visits with Sara and
Barry this evening.
