8/29- BUT CAN HE TOP WOODY ALLEN, WHO SAID, “I TOOK ONE OF THOSE SPEED-READING COURSES AND, SURE ENOUGH, I FINISHED “WAR AND PEACE” IN THIRTY-TWO MINUTES. IT’S ABOUT RUSSIA!”

HOWARD STEPHEN BERG is the world’s fastest reader.  No scam here.  He was cited by Guinness as able to read 25,000 words a minute, and that’s no less than 416 words a second.  He may not perform for us.  That’s awkward on radio, but we’ll have a lot of fun talking about how he got that way and how we can all improve our reading speed for fun and profit.  Berg visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
