11/26-SOMETIMES THE MOST DELIGHTFUL TRIPS ARE THOSE WITH NO DESTINATION IN MIND.

It’s more interesting to learn how new words break into languages than how burglars break into homes, offices and warehouses.  That’s just one little stopping place on the trip with actor-teacher-folklorist ROBERT RODRIGUEZ, who Barry describes as one of the busiest, happiest and most productive people he knows, though totally blind since birth.  Advance tidbit:  Many think the word “copasetic” came into English from the black community.  Turns out it’s 100% HEBREW!  (“Kol beseder”)
