Martha Montolongo
Martha is Mexican American, which means she is steeped in the culture that her parents and all of her extended family share, and she is passionate and an advocate for constitutionally protected liberties and freedom. She has particularly focused on policy which advances education reform, property rights, and limited government. She firmly believes that after responsible and loving parenting, education is the first rung of the ladder out of poverty, choice in education empowers parents and empowered parents can more effectively advocate for their children. Her focus also includes entrepreneurship, small business and health care related policy issues. Martha is committed to empowering and advancing the strength and vitality of the emerging Mexican American middle class and business community and firmly believes the middle class is a fundamental cornerstone for a democracy to thrive and for people to live free.
