The
tragedy of the Malaysian jet-lines means “liberation” for novelists who tend to
go “over the top” in confecting stories with highly unrealistic
scenarios. Instead of being scolded for his runaway imagination in his
latest novel, “Elevated Threat” WILLIAM ROBSON is probably getting calls from
book publishers asking, if he can hurry up and write a best-seller that takes
advantage of the “bar-of-the-believable” now suddenly being raised as the
biggest passenger plane in the world simply vanishes with no trace.
