It’s
hard to celebrate by yelling “WHOOPEE” and the like when so many American
soldiers were lost and maimed as British and American forces stormed ashore
seventy years ago today, but a victory it was and a celebration encrusted in
remembrance of the heroism of those who fell on the Normandy beaches is
appropriate. We remembers D-Day with “blind historian” ROBERT RODRIGUEZ
who may have been born without sight, but not without vision. Rodriguez
visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
