Trashing
public figures who hold what you consider the wrong ideology is always a
delight, but talk hosts can be diverted with stories as grand as this
one. A group of wealthy Confederate soldiers didn’t want to live under
Abraham Lincoln, so after the Civil War they went to Brazil, where they were
most welcome because they knew all about growing cotton. PROFESSOR
STEPHEN BLOOM went to the town of Americana in Brazil where the descendants of
those Johnny Rebs live to this day, and talk to each other in the ENGLISH OF
THE SOUTH AT THE TIME OF THE CIVIL WAR. Professor Bloom visits with Sara
this evening.
Barry's talk show brings listeners wisdom, insight, and first-hand knowledge from a cosmopolitan mind and down-home heart full of charm, sweetness, and the warmth of a deep and steady inner fire. One taste and your listeners will agree that Barry Farber is to talk radio what a fine wine is to a good meal. CRN1 M-F 5PM PT.
