8/18-NEW DEFINITION OF CHUTSPAH: CHINESE COMMUNISTS TELL AMERICAN ADVERTISERS WHICH AMERICAN NEWSPAPER THEY’RE NOT ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE IN

Who could ever guess that a Chinese newspaper published in English in New York City beginning in 2000 would have the power to reach so many readers the Communist Party of China would resort to thug tactics to shut it down?  The EPOCH TIMES is the victim of a Beijing campaign to force advertisers to abandon this courageous freedom-shouting, anti-Communist little paper that has caused more than 174 million Chinese to quit the Communist Party and demand freedom.  Times writer JOSHUA PHILIPP cites the names, newspapers other than the Epoch Times and the shameful tactics used by the Chinese Communists in their desperate effort to squelch this valiant newspaper that is now published in 35 countries and 25 languages.  Philipp visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
