WHAT WEAPONS WOULD YOU ALL SUGGEST WE AND OUR ALLIES USE TO DEFEND SOUTH VIETNAM AGAINST COMMUNIST AGGRESSION?” THE ENSUING SILENCE WAS NOT SPONSORED BY REMINGTON NOISELESS TYPEWRITERS.

One of the most remarkable “Voices of America” is World War II vet CHARLES WILEY who, despite his advanced age makes hundreds of speeches for America every year.  His “armored logic” stuns America-haters into silence.  Once the head of the American Communist Party gathered his papers and left the radio studio without a word when he realized Wiley knew too much for the comfort of his new book, a Communist revisionist history of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.  Wiley and Barry celebrate their half-century anniversary of friendship and standing up to enemies of America on radio, TV and street rallies as Wiley visits with Sara and Barry this evening.
