Barry is both an American patriot who volunteered for the Army during a vicious war and a stand-up Jew who for forty year participated in fund-raising for Israel through Bonds of Israel and United Jewish Appeal. This is a day patriotic American Jews hoped would never arrive; a day when the leaders of Israel have publicly "called out" the American government for blocking Israel's efforts at self-defense and aiding the Iranians; who've sworn to "wipe Israel off the map".
