Sorry, Folks.
Today's blog for the first time features neither the guest nor the
hosts. This evening we salute a great
political joke that almost came true today.
Once President Dwight Eisenhower stumbled so badly on so many vital
topics his press secretary James Hagerty was asked by his assistant,
"We've got to issue a statement.
What can we say?" The
thoughtful Hagerty replied, "All we can say is, 'The president does not
speak for this administration!"
In trying to "clarify" something Vice President
Joe Biden said in the debate with Congressman Paul Ryan last night, Obama Press
Secretary James Carney was asked today how it was possible that neither Biden
nor Obama knew the Consulate in Benghazi was begging for more security. Carney actually said, "Biden was
speaking for himself and the president; NOT FOR THE ADMINISTRATION. (meaning the State Department knew!)
