2/18-A BRITISH REPORTER CONGRATULATED BRITISH PRIME MINISTER WINSTON CHURCHILL FOR GETTING A QUARTER MILLION BRITISH TROOPS OFF THE BEACHES OF DUNKIRK AND BACK HOME. CHURCHILL RETURNED THE COMPLIMENT UNOPENED. “WARS ARE NOT WON BY EVACUATIONS,” SAID CHURCHILL.

That loud crunch you heard was not connected to the latest New England blizzard.  It was the backbone of the camel breaking.  What was the guilty straw?  We now know the disorder and disarray caused by the overthrow of the pro-American government of Yemen.  An administration spokesperson felt badgered by a Fox News anchor who pressed her on that point.  “Look,” she bristled.  “We got our people safely out of the country and I think we should focus on that!”  Barry says, “Join me, please, on the beach at Dunkirk, France in June of 1940 when a defeated France could no longer protect its British allies who evacuated Dunkirk and fled back to England on anything floatable INCLUDING INFLATED INNER TUBES.  Can you picture a British spokesman telling an annoying reporter, “Look.  We got our troops safely out of France, and I think we should focus on that rather than any imaginary BRITISH DEFEAT!”  Talk host JOE MESSINA visits with Sara and Barry this evening to treat each others frustration.
