world is sometimes safe and sometimes not for various groups. Germany is
safe for democracy-lovers, Jews included. Cuba is dangerous for those who
crave more money. Indians were endangered in Idi Amin’s Uganda. White
people who fight for bettering the lives of black people walk the streets of
America’s South and Christians are newly endangered in extremist Islamic
countries. The success of GOP candidate Donald Trump has suddenly made
the ideas and energies of multi-millionaires a lot more welcome throughout
America. MAURICE KANBAR who invented devices ranging from brushes that
get fuzzy balls off of certain kinds of sweaters to a whole new kind of vodka
looks at America and the world through a lens that no longer ridicules,
denigrates or hates success; a lens that no longer pushes rich people off to
