England was America’s first enemy, now our firmest ally and friend.  And we loved our ally China when the Chinese were being brutalized by Japan.  Then Japan became our worst enemy, but now our best friend in Asia and China is an adversial menace.  The only constant enemy is CRIME!  MICHAEL VECCHIONE, former chief of the Rackets Division in the Brooklyn, N. Y. DA’s office who put an unprecedented number of big shots who were bad shots, including three New York Supreme Court judges, behind bars.  JERRY SCHMETTERER was the press officer of the DA’s office.  They put their bone-marrow curdling stories between covers of “Crooked Brooklyn”  Vecchione and Schmetterer visit with Sara and Barry this evening.
