In talk radio, with some guests, it's not over even when
it's over. Yesterday popular folk-lorist
Robert Rodriguez (blind since birth; happy and productive since shortly
thereafter) had just returned from a conference on humor in the UK. One of the topics at the conference was,
"Was there anything funny during World War II?" Rodriguez then rattled off a dozen or so
funny incidents he'd heard Barry tell over the years, but there was no time to elaborate. Barry solo this evening goes back and fills
in the blanks alluded to by Mr. Rodriguez.
