When the news-guys tell us "Washington is taking North
Korea's threats seriously." they know Washington is a large cluster of
buildings that can't speak, read or weigh policy. Of the U. S. Government
officials in Washington who are taking Pyongyang seriously, the group leader
may well be F. MICHAEL MALOOF, who for over thirty years has been
professionally involved in the defense of the United States of America as a former
senior security policy analyst in the office of the secretary of defense.
