After
so many self-proclaimed political “experts” and “strategists” who brag about
their depth of awareness and their grasp of all issues large and small, it’s
refreshing to meet a “plain old guy” who makes no claims but nonetheless seems
to rattle off details of primary upsets in eastern Tennessee in the 1920s and
talks so excitingly about politics today, even the “experts” and “strategists”
fall silent and listen. Barry takes pride in convincing attorney and
“Plain Old Guy” DON O’SULLIVAN to do it into microphones as he visits with Sara
and Barry this evening.
