Americans
have a softness for manual laborers who manifest the ability to use their minds
as well as their muscles. Remember the longshoreman-philosopher Eric
Hoffer? PATRICK FORNARI has spent 35 years as a construction worker in
America’s mid-west as well as the Caribbean and spent more than a decade
reading and condensing best-selling books he thought had the power to reach out
and bring American workers into deeper awareness of how politics affects their
lives. Fornari’s amalgamated result is his own book entitled “COMMONER
SENSE”, redolent of the work of American Revolutionary nation-builder and
world-changer Thomas Paine. Fornari visits with Sara and Barry this
evening.
