Millions
of whacky statements have been issued by our leaders leading to hundreds of
millions of responses by offended members of the public. Barry thinks
he’s finally found the whackiest statement that elicited the most profoundly
excellent and eloquent response. President Obama let fly the flippant
comment that those who are doing well have “drawn life’s winning lottery
ticket”. In other words study, work, self-discipline, imagination,
sacrifice and the other virtues count for naught. Successful folks just
drew the right lottery ticket; right? PAUL HOLLRAH twice served on the
Electoral College. As a dirt-poor farm boy in Missouri he learned to plow
a straight furrow and go to the end of the row. Hollrah visits with Sara
