Politicians have always found ways to pay off those who
do them political favors, but in olden times they at least had the appropriate
and legitimate feeling of shame, and they did it all in the twisted alleys of
the twilight world. Imagine what the
Founding Fathers would think of the Obama Administration paying off the unions
for their vital campaign help by changing the almost-holy rules of the Senate
in order to force radical members onto the National Labor Relations Board for
the not-secret-at-all purpose of imposing "card check" on American
management to save the union movement's sagging membership, fortunes and
future. DAVE BEGO, author of "Devil
at My Doorstep" and "Devil at Our Dootstep", who stood up to
probably the most powerful union in the world, the SEIU, visits with Sara and
Barry this evening to unscrew the firing pin on Sen. Harry Reid's "nuclear
option".
