Among
the most outstanding women of all time, PHYLLIS CHESLER has battle stripes and
battle scars earned on the foreign and domestic fronts of anti-semitism,
equality for women, the battle against Islamic honor-killing, freedom for those
oppressed by tyranny and similar causes with which fair-minded people
everywhere join in support. Among her fifteen books is “An American Bride
in Kabul”, the true story of her almost disastrous marriage to a “westernized”
Afghan who, upon marriage, included her among his family’s “property”.
