One of the busiest, most productive, most interesting,
entertaining, imaginative and HAPPIEST people we know is not only blind, but
has been totally blind since birth. He's
actor, folk-lorist and professor BOB RODRIGUEZ and we've learned it's too dangerous
to guess what his target will be on any given radio appearance. It may be a necklace of Irish proverbs,
ancient tales of a stupid Persian mullah, a story-tellers' convention on a
mountain-top in Tennessee, people along the Cape Fear River who still speak
Elizabethan English or imitations of Cajun comedians he's known. All we can say with some certainty is, Bob
intends to visit with Sara and Barry this evening.
