You may think of Barry this evening as a man who made all his dreams come true and is now sitting in a courtroom fearful that they'll take it all away. Those dreams are the American achievement of racial harmony after slavery and jim-crow segregation. Barry's generation in the deep South contributed the climate that made Martin Luther King, the Civil Rights Act and Barack Obama possible. Today mobs of black youth are attacking random whites and white-owned media is trying to cover everything up. Barry cries "foul", and a whole lot more.
